AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018) ★ | MOVIE REVIEW

Hey Zengarmy,

Okay first thing off the bat: this review is 100% going to be about movie spoilers
& conspiracy theories revolving the shocking ending so IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED
THE MOVIE AND WOULD PREFER STAYING AWAY FROM ANY MOVIE SPOILERS PLEASE
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CLICK OUT OF THIS POST RIGHT NOW DON'T SAY I DID NOT
WARN YOU I REPEAT DO NOT SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU ABOUT THE MOVIE SPOILERS!

Marvel outdid itself in Infinity War!
Yes, you've heard me. Avengers: Infinity War is easily the BEST superhero
movie of the decade (or even century) with its inclusion of 24 characters
in one singular timeline. I just watched this movie yesterday morning and
I have nothing negative to say about this movie. JUST WOW. Despite its
screening duration of 2 hours and 39 minutes, the storyline suffered from
neither over-dilution nor over-saturation. Like many other viewers, I was
highly skeptical about the coherence of the movie and how the directors
are going to be able to fit in such an abundance of core characters in one
single film — but the Russo brothers outdid themselves again in Infinity
War, once again proving the unshakable supremacy of Marvel movies (I
love y'all too Justice League and Suicide Squad, but no tea no shade,
y'all have to bow down to Infinity War without a doubt). Juggling with
such a complex storyline that over-crosses 5 different Marvel Cinematic
Universe (MCU) phases including Avengers (duh), Doctor Strange, Thor,
Black Panther & Guardians of the Galaxy — and being able to deliver
it successfully on the big movie screen — Infinity War is undeniably an
instant classic in the history of superhero films, in my personal opinion.

I like how the trailer has 179 million
views like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?
😂 DC better be fucking shaking right now 😂

Now, before moving on to the most interesting part of this post (conspiracy theories
for the ending!), I'd like to roughly go through most of the scenes in Infinity War (with
pictures, chill!) and highlight some of my absolute favorite, heart-wrenching scenes

PS: The opening scene is actually a direct continuation of the ending for Thor: Ragnarok,
which I think is very thoughtful of the directors to do so!

▲ Doctor Strange is my ABSOLUTE fav! ▼

▲ I was clenching my fist so hard during
this scene cause I thought Scarlet Witch
could defeat Thanos' henchmen at ease
(but turns out she couldn't lol) 😂 Thank
God Black Widow came through at the
end she's a real tough bitch DAMNNN!
( I used to think Black Widow is the weakest Avenger but not anymore )

▲ Hands down one of the most epic scene!
Alright alright these slideshows are
almost done hang in there hahah! 😂

T h e   e n d  . . . . .  o r   i s   i t  ?
Characters perish in movies, that's nothing unusual — but Infinity War took
it to another whole new level with the astonishing death counts in the
movie. Within the first few minutes of the movie, fan-favorite Loki was
killed off, Heimdall the "Rainbow Bridge Builder" was stabbed to death,
Gamora was pushed down the cliff in exchange for the Soul Stone, and
towards the very end of the movie, heroes begin to disappear — literally.
Just in case you've lost your count, here's a summary list of
who's alive (green), who's missing (yellow) & who's dead (red):

* Also perished are Nick Fury & Maria Hill, while M'Baku from Wakanda survived.

💥 [ FAN THEORIES FOR THE ENDING ] 💥

For those of you who are still a little bit confused by the whole "collecting
Infinity stones shenanigans", here's a little recap + summary for y'all heheh:

Theory 1 : Deadpool & Continuity Stone

I did some research after watching Infinity War and BITCH GUESS WHAT I FOUND?????
There is a final, seventh Infinity stone called "Continuity Stone" that is rumoured
to be possessed by Deadpool! 😮😮😮😮😮 Now, I wouldn't jump too quickly into the
conclusion — but Deadpool might be joining the next installment of Avengers 4 argh!
The precise power of Continuity Stone is yet to be known, but it is rumoured to be a
merge between Time Stone & Soul Stone (which is probably incorrect but whatever!)

Theory 2 : Dr. Strange foreseen the future

Remember when Dr. Strange told Iron Man that there is one-out-of-14-million chance
that they would be able to defeat Thanos? Yes. What if having almost half the amount
of Avengers sacrificed IS THE ONLY CHANCE? I personally stand firmly by this theory.
Having almost half of the Avenger members dead will lower Thanos' guard against
the remaining Avengers (more on that later), which might make it easier for the
rest of the Avengers to turn the tables in Avengers 4. And, oh, don't you worry
about the 15 characters that are dead — some of them MIGHT be really dead
(Loki, for example, but I doubt it) but for the rest of them who turned into
ashes, you best believe they would be revived when the Avengers got hold
of the Time and Soul Stones in Avengers 4. I've put together a quick list of
the upcoming Marvel movies that might give you some sort of hint hahah!

Theory 3 : Captain Marvel to the rescue!

Tbh this is not even a "theory" this is a FACT. Before disintegrating into ashes in the
final post-credit scene of Infinity War, Nick Fury managed to get in contact with whom
appeared to be Captain Marvel — the STRONGEST member of Avengers, according to the
official statement by Marvel Studio! Again, I've put together some info for Captain Marvel:

Theory 4 : Vision might still be alive

Okay this is not that big of a deal (and also not that exciting lol) but remember
how the ending didn't show how Shuri (Black Panther's sister) turning into ashes?
And also, remember she was the one who's transferring Vision's consciousness from
the Mind Stone to the computer? BOOM. There you go. Parts of Vision might still be
alive, resurrected & will possibly become one of the strongest force of the remaining
Avengers (after Scarlet Witch is gone, it's kind of a fucking joke how Scarlet Witch is
powerful enough to destroy the Mind Stone but almost get killed in most of the battle
scenes hahahah!). Not to forget, we still have Ant-Man, WaspHawkeye who did not
appear in Infinity War, which we shall expect them to join the OG Avengers who *ahem*
miraculously stayed intact without turning into ashes in Infinity War, which is exciting!
